In the food covered by chitosan film, an overwhelming efficacy against L. monocytogenes and Staphylococcus aureus were observed[31]. The antimicrobial characteristics of chitosan were also confirmed against L. monocytogenes in fried cattle meats when the lord of the bacteria was less than 6.5 log 10 CFU/g, moreover, chitosan coats on the meats, reduced the number of colonies to 2–3 log 10 CFU/g [32].
