consumption of FPCs might overload the body with ACR through
its accumulation within the tissues thus contributing to the onset
of diseases. The incidence of non-communicable diseases,
including obesity, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, metabolic
conditions and cancer, is steadily increasing worldwide [13,14].
Generally speaking, lack of physical activity, sedentary lifestyle,
smoking, and excessive consumption of alcohol are known risk
factors for non-communicable diseases [15,16].
