The collapse of the cellulose fiber network is not reversible. As
shown in Figure 5b, the elongation at the breaking point of the BCG films from the addition of
5%–10% (w/v) gelatin was also significantly reduced to 0.8%–0.9% (in dried form) and 7.3%–9.8%
