depression. Regarding to the ADHD, 20% of subjects from our group
were classified as susceptible of suffering ADHD in the test ASRS-v1-1
and a 13.3% had been diagnosed in childhood, whereas according
to several studies the rate of ADHD in general adult population is of
around 3-4% [24] and 3-7% in school population [25]. This condition
has been associated with the consumption of opiates during pregnancy,
although in our sample we also found a significant relationship with
the antecedent of living with the biological parents. Finally, in the field
of psychiatric disorders, one of the most remarkable findings was the
high percentage of individuals with personality disorder according to
screening with SAPAS, representing 66.7% of the sample. Nonetheless,
in contrast to what could be expected these disorders did not represent
a risk factor for substance abuse.
