2.5.2. X-ray diffraction
The starch samples were oven-dried at 50 C overnight and pulverized
to a particle size < 63 lm. X-ray diffraction analysis was
performed in an X-ray diffractometer (X’Pert PRO, Panalytical,
Netherlands) operated at 40 kV and 200 mA. Diffractograms were
obtained from 3 2h to 60 2h with a scanning speed of 8/min
and scanning step of 0.02.
