In this study, data were collected via web-based questionnaires
within the period of early March to early April 2009. A total of
527 questionnaires were gathered and 495 of them were valid.
Approximately 87% of respondents had used the Internet for more
than 5 years and 37% of them used the Internet for more than
5 hours a day. More than 78% of the respondents were female
and aged between 25 and 40 years old. More than 48% of the
respondents made online purchases two to four times in the previous
month, with the most common products being ‘‘clothes and
accessories’’, at over 60%.
