reported greater efficiencies for a V-corrugated-plate solar
collector, with values of 39.05% and 68%, respectively.
These efficiencies are attributable to the controlled temperature
and inlet air mass flow rate conditions under which
the above-mentioned experiments were performed. In addition,
neither optical analysis of the solar collector nor the
transitory natures of environmental factors were not considered
in either analysis. A solar tracking system and/or
an automatic inclination control are needed to take full
advantage of all available solar radiation. However, these
systems are not economically convenient for agricultural
product drying applications.
