“At first, when you see yourself improving, it was fun practicing. But when you start getting confused about who you really are, you get stressed. Of course you can’t always do well the whole time, but you start thinking to yourself, ‘why can’t i do this?’ and start falling into confusion. And then you start wanting to give up. When I want to give up, I start thinking about my family that believes in me. I don’t want to disappoint or worry them so I end up staying. Honestly, all the trainees know that you find excuses to give up, but you want to do it again. even though there are difficult times, when you realize you’re just throwing a fit, you stay. Usually, I listen to different music depending on my mood at that moment, but there are times when my thoughts are so complicated that music doesn’t help so right after school ends I go to the bookstore near the company and spend time by myself. I sometimes read books or just observe people. Even though my thoughts haven’t been organized, I feel better. It’s my healing place that even my parents don’t know about,” Juyeon revealed.
