Spray-dried rice bran oil powders were packed in aluminum
foil bags and stored under freezing temperatures
pending further analyses. For storage studies, spray-dried
oil powders (1 g each) were placed in a Proximity Equilibration
Cell (PEC) with different relative humidities
(RH) of 11–87%RH, prepared from saturated salt solution.
15 g of spray-dried powder were also placed in aluminum
foil bags and the bags were incubated at 25, 35, and
45C. For the studies on the effect of storage temperature,
some samples were withdrawn at frequent intervals of five
days and duration of storage time (80 days).
