Over the last few years the travel and hospitality business has undergone tremendous change. One of the most significant changes has been the proliferation of the Internet. Price transparency, third party intermediaries, and speed of information have all changed the marketing and revenue management game. Winning in this new environment requires market-based plans that target customers by ensuring online marketing and distribution tools are integrating into the overall marketing plan. The Online Marketing and Distribution Manager will report directly to the SVP Area Director, North West Europe with a strong functional reporting line to the STARS marketing and distribution organization. He/She will be responsible for driving local marketing and distribution solutions that will improve the markets overall RevPar index and other key financial and customer metrics.
