Air entering the room was at 20 oC and all walls were adiabatic. Bioaerosols were modelled using a
Lagrangian particle tracking method with discrete random walk. In each case 10,000 2.5µm diameter
inert particles were released via a volume source located 10cm above the patient’s head and given an
inlet velocity of 1 m/s in the positive vertical direction to represent exhalation.
