Poland, located in the very center of Europe, has convenient air, railway, road and sea
connections with other countries on the continent. The Polish civil aviation system consists
of the Frederic Chopin “Okęcie” Airport in Warsaw (by far the largest and most important
in Poland with over 70 flights per day and serving a total of 72 destinations) and 11 regional
airports providing domestic, as well as European and intercontinental connections.
