The anonymity of internet made internet users engaging in
aggression without any apprehension. Participants of internet
violence were anonymous, and need not take responsible for
their behaviors. The risk of violence was very little. However,
if they conducted the violence in their real identities, they
would have some consideration for the results of their
behaviors. The real morality was often from self-discipline.
That meant a person conducted their behavior based on
conscience and belief even without any penalty and
surveillance. According to the rule, the internet users who
shouted themselves hoarse to condemn others’ deed conducted
behaviors unethically.
