“I feel drawn to someone. I want to stay near them, and I wish for nothing but they’re well-being. I feel something close to happiness when I think of them and miss them in their absence. Do you know any emotion that is in the likeness of that?” He asked, eyes locked on yours. You bit your lip and looked down. This emotion he wasn’t aware of sounded like love. It sounded like something you felt for him, but maybe he felt this way towards someone else, like Wanda. He reacted a bit nervously to your silence.
“So then this is not a human emotion. I do have a malfunction in my system. I was right then, when I said it was not a good idea for Tony to re-program me to feel.” After he finished, you quickly looked up at him and took his hand in yours.
“Vision, can I ask you one more question?” You asked, squeezing his hand for reassurance. He nodded. “Who are you feeling this towards?” You asked, slightly hopeful.
“You, (Y/N).” He said surprisingly fast. You smiled wide. Everything you had hoped for was right.
“You are feeling a real emotion, Vision. It’s called love. Love isn’t a malfunction.” He smiled after you finished.
“So, then, I’m feeling love? What an interesting emotion.” You huffed in a breathy laugh.
“Yes, it is. Do you know how we humans show our affection and love for one another?” You asked, blushing a bit at the question you had just asked.
“Hugging?”
“Yes, but there’s another way.” You smiled and leaned closer to him. “It’s called a kiss.” You said before lightly pressing your lips against his. He smiled again as you pulled away.
“I enjoy those, “kisses”.” He said, making your blush darken.
“I do too.” You said, resting your forehead on his. “I love you, Vision.” You said, looking down at his hands you were holding in yours.
“I love you too, (Y/N). That is how they say it, correct?” You laughed again, nodding slightly.
“Yes Vision, that’s how they say it.”
