The proposed construction was built recently, and the planning
data were available as building information models. The new construction
problem as presented in this study includes construction
of the entire second floor. All relevant building components bcBC
for the main and the drywall works in this story represent the new
problem as query qQ, e.g., Formula (10).

Using the IFC parser, building component information with its
attributes was extracted from the drawings. Fig. 12 shows the second
story with all the relevant components.
The second story contains 17 exterior walls, 28 drywalls, 20
core walls, altogether 27 columns (15 of steel, 12 of RC), 2 slabs,
and 4 beams (3 of steel, 1 of RC). Each component is characterized by a unique identification number. The properties of the components
are used to describe each component. The material and
geometry are of particular importance and were used subsequently
to determine the similarity measure.
