Although there was a slight
removal of Crwith planting of Z. mays, the significantdifferences
in Cr removal observed when single and mixed contaminants
were compared and the higher dissipation of B[a]P under cocontamination
(higher B[a]P) suggests that Z. mays could be
used for phytoremediation of Cr–B[a]P co-contaminated soil but
only where concentrations are higher
