1. On d 21, PRO1 and MOS yielded the
highest bird BW, but this effect did not
carry over to the d 49 ending bird BW.
However, PRO1 and MOS reduced preslaughter
Salmonella (86 and 72%, respectively).
2. On d 21, birds fed OA were the heaviest,
followed by those fed WCON, RACV,
and H2O2, but on d 49, birds finished on
both OA and RACV had similar BW as
those fed WCON. Compared with birds
fed WCON, those fed OA and RACV
were at least 50 and 25% less likely to
have Salmonella preslaughter.
3. The 0.4% inclusion of H2O2 was too
high, based on the overall performance
and WI observed for birds fed H2O2
