Further to the email below and the CEO note attched following are some of the key developments of this afternoon:
No confidence debate against the PM and the Interior Minister began amid tightened security
Police sought and received an arrest warrant against Suthep Thaugsuban, the leader of the anti-government protest, for occupying the finance ministry
Anti-government protestors from Ayutthaya are also heading for Bangkok to join the mass rallies
Protestors have left the premises of the Foreign Ministry
Protestors have moved to occupy four more ministries in Ratchdamnern Avenue including the Agriculture, Transport, Tourism and Interior Ministry
The US, UK, China and Singapore have expressed concerns over the escalating anti-government rallies in Bangkok
With these developments there is a possibility of escalation of tensions and violence since these developments are illegal with regards to the imposed Internal Security Act.
