Hello All - I wanted to relay as much as I know to date regarding some upcoming changes to Optiva attachment transition.
Although all the formal testing has been completed, IT is in the process of converting the system over to the new structure. Part of that transition will require IT to point the existing attachment interface to the new SharePoint 2013 library, which should be a transparent change for the PLM Community. These changes are targeted November 30th.
Additional transformations will likely continue throughout December, which are also invisible to the Optiva Community. When all IT activities are nearing completion, I will send an additional email that will layout the next round of ECM changes.
Although near-term changes should be transparent, if you experience attachment issues after November 30th, please contact the Service Desk and copy Jeff Moye and Jeff Patterson.
Best Regards
Bill
