The OPB samples show the potentiality to effect the absorption coefficient of drying method and different energy. Convection drying was achieved the highest sound absorption coefficient at 100, 80, 60 and 50 respectively. These condition of convection drying were acoustical material.Meanwhile, microwave drying was able to absorb the sound at the lowest sound absorption coefficient at 4000W 1200W,400W and 200W respectively, no sound-absorbing material.
Meanwhile 20UP5-FC filler was able to absorb the sound at the highest sound absorption coefficient at higher range of frequency level (Hz). This type of polymer composite can be applied for cushion, sound-proof wall or building structure.
