The data will help the national park committee to manage the complex, create
additional values, and sustain development. The research objectives are, firstly, to identify tourists’ expectations and
perceptions of environmental issues management, which comprises six aspects: pollution, facilities, safety,
regulation enforcement, eco-tourism activities, and stakeholder collaboration. Secondly, the comparison between
tourists’ perceptions and expectations identifies the existence of a gap in tourists’ perception. The results should help
stakeholders in selecting priority issues to be managed and additional control required.
