History.known case ca tonsil with S/P radiation for 2 years
Technique. Plain,IV contrast axial and coronal scan of the neck using MDCT.
Findings.The study shows no residual tonsilar mass in this study.Nosignificant cervical lymph nodes are seen.No bony lytic lasion is observed.The pharynx and larynx show normal boundaries and wall thickness.The epiglottis appears nomal.The vallecullae appear intact.The rest suprahyoid and infrahyoid neck spaces are intact.The oral floor muscles are bilaterally symmetry.The parotid and submandibular glands appear normal. The thyroid gland shows normol size and symmetry.The cervical vessels are patent. The muscular structures and soft tissue of the neck are unremarkable.Bilateral maxillary and sphenoid sinusitis are seen. Minimal fibrosis and pleural thickening are seen at both apical.
