I am building the business case now and need some input from Operations to enable us to understand clearly the benefit that IPOS will bring our organization.
My questions as follow up from our meeting are:
1. How long approximately do branch staff spend keying one application (in minutes)?
2. How many branches do we have?
3. How many staff approximately per branch will key applications?
4. What is the average cost per staff that does data entry in a branch?
5. For the storage of applications once they have been processed – what is the cost per box for storage and how many applications fit in each box?
6. What is the cost of data entry for the contract staff per application?
7. Could you provide a copy of the Channel Quality Dashboard?
8. Once an application has been printed – approximately what percentage would need to be reprinted due to an error?
9. For your internal verification team that check the data entry quality from the outsource team – what percentage of their time do they spend per week on data entry verification only (you had mentioned that they do some non med underwriting so they will not spend 100% of their time on verification)?
10. Could you check the contract we have for document storage and see if there is any minimum cost per month?
11. Who does the scanning of new business applications?
12. Is the cost of scanning new business applications per application or a fixed cost (if per application could you let me know the cost per application)?
13. For applications at branches – how do we send the applications for scanning (e.g. is this sent directly from the branch to the vendor for scanning)?
