Dear Thananan
I know that we should have made the payment within one week from receiving the VAT-refund, and I can tell you that we are working on it. The problem is that – because it has been so long, since we have used the Deutsche Bank account in Thailand – we have temporarily lost the ability to authorize money transfers from the account.
I have been in contact with the bank, and if the issue is not resolved within a few days, we will transfer the money to you from our account in Denmark. So you will definitely have your money next week. I am truly sorry for the delay.
With respect to the dissolution of Pressalit (Thailand) Ltd., I think that Mr. Kim Boyter has finally decided to close the company. As far as I remember, the first step is to terminate the BOI agreement. Can you please tell me, how far we are in this regard, and what the time schedule for the whole dissolution process is. I would really appreciate, if you could send me an updated time plan and the fees (both your and external) for the whole process.
My superior, Thomas Brandt Pasgaard, has also asked me, whether we can sell the company, and whether the financial losses the company has accumulated over several years, can be of value to other Thai businesses. What is your opinion?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Have a nice day.
Kind regards
Marek Szysz
