After the implementing a four-phase technique to improve students’ writing skill, the researcher got some results dealing with both writing skill and class situation. The result are presented below:The different result of research between cycle 1 and 2 occured because the researcher made some revised plans in order to make the cycle 2 better. The revised plans were made based on the unsolved problem that occures in the cycle 1. In cycle 1, there were some unsolved problems related to students’ writing skill. Those problems were: (1) vocabulary mistakes, especially the diction and context, (2) grammatical mistakes in the use of past tense and word order, (3) some students were not active in the group work and group discussion, (4) some students did not have confidence to answer questions during the classroom discussion.
