The fifth factor of healthfulness relates to emotions and affection. Harmonious relationships and companionship can produce positive effects on a person's mental and physical well-being (Boarbman,2004).Positive emotional and psychological states, such as enjoyment/happiness/joy and interest/anticipation (Compton,2005).can broaden a person's mental awareness and facilitate innovative thoughts and actions, which, in turn, can produce positive long-term effects such as psychological resilience and growth (Fredrickson,2003). For the final factor, only two items highly, and it is the only factor that is relatively unreliable.Although more information is needed to establish this factor,we believe that it represents traditional and folkloric health beliefs. However, because this is a significant motive for people to visit hot spring resorts,we retained this factor despite its low reliability. Folkloric health beliefs.such as folk therapies and which foods to eat,and which to avoid, originate from rural and traditional contexts, wherein infrastructure, hygiene, and scientific insights were lacking. For example,in many folk traditions, being overweight was a sign of material abundance and economic well-being, and therefore,an indicator of good health.
