behaviors related to nutrition, physical activity and tobacco for the Healthy
Hawaii Initiative
(HHI), a multi

year social ecological intervention to increase physical activity, improve
nutrition and reduce tobacco use among the people of Hawaii. This study examined a
subset of survey questions from the HHI survey including demogra
phic factors; self

reported
weekly minutes of walking, moderate physical activity and vigorous physical activity; exercise
self

efficacy; and exercise social norms. To capture sedentary behaviors, questions about the
amount of weekly minutes spent sitting
