Previous research has, however, found a significant positive
correlation between superiors’ subjective rating and
objective measures of subordinate performance (Bommer
et al., 1995; Furnham and Stringfield, 1994). It is also
important to note that the effects obtained in the different
runs of the model show high robustness and the results of
the preliminary and final analyses are consistent.
