The Enteromorpha spore biomass was strongly affected
by salinity ( pb0.0001) and by PO4–P concentration
( pb0.0001) (Table 2-1), although there were no
statistically significant interactions between these two
factors ( pN0.05). Algal biomass was lower at 5 psu
and increased significantly with higher salinity levels
