The adidas Group employs over 50,000 employees worldwide; more than 3,500 of them work in Franconia. People from more than 70 (81 in Germany) nations work at the Group’s headquarters in Herzogenaurach; over 900 of them are not of German origin. The average age of our employees is 30 globally; at the Group’s headquarters in Herzogenaurach it is 37. This is a phase of life when many young people think about starting a family. Every year, about 200 children are born to our employees working in adidas locations in Germany alone. Therefore, the Work-Life Integration department of the adidas Group has developed various concepts with the focus on supporting this particular life phase. The Work-Life Integration (WLI) team concern themselves with the compatibility of leisure time and work, as well as with supporting “hard workers” and generation 50+. This way, we accomplish our aim to create a working atmosphere where all employees feel comfortable, where they are able and willing to perform and where we can fulfil our social and corporate responsibility.
The adidas Group is working on the continuous improvement of working conditions and will continue to strive towards the ultimate goal of Work-Life Integration: to create a working environment where employees are supported in all phases of their lives.
