Web videoconferencing platform (BigBlueButton,
Mars Hill, Maine, USA) that they could access
independently to hold live team meetings and
practice their presentations. Students used webcams
or provided links to prerecorded YouTube videos to
demonstrate respectful communication and root
cause analyses of medication errors described in their
cases. Both pharmacy and nursing faculty graded the
live presentations and agreed on the points awarded
for each team presentation (Table 3). Students were
required to complete an evaluation of the activity
that measured their perceived achievement of
interprofessional core competencies (Table 4).
