This paper presented promising results for upper-limb motor rehabilitation, since in two case studies with the system NeuroR applied to patients that suffered a stroke more than a year; enhancements have been observed in the motor components of shoulder range of motion and speed, measured by the evaluation instruments adopted. This work provided a new approach to training of movements in the motor rehabilitation process, since even patients without any motor output can train the movements of the injured arm with the aid of the virtual arm, which is depicted attached to the patient's body to extend skills patient's actual arm. Furthermore, the system NeuroR may be used either in the rehab center as well as in home.
