Based on those resources, 34 items, representing the main issues raised in
the literature and the interviews in relation to the construct of organisation of
time in daily life performance were established. The questionnaire was
written in Hebrew and constructed in a way that would be suitable for
adults in Israel. It was translated into English for the purposes of this manuscript.
Twenty items relate to the frequency of disorganisation of time in
everyday activities, such as dressing, eating, and washing, as reflected by
the individual’s pace of doing such activities in relation to environmental
expectations. Five items relate to the extent to which the individual succeeds
in organising a whole day or a certain period of time in a satisfactory manner.
Seven items relate to the frequency of emotional responses following the individual’s
unsuccessful organisation of time. All of the items use clear, understandable
terminology and are rated on a five-point Likert scale, with a higher
score indicating better performance.
