If we listen closely we will recognize if the talker is a Spanish, Nigeria, India, the Philippino, etc.
My PhD friend had a hard time communicated with kids when he was here. We do not have enough teachers who can speak English correctly in schools.
Anyway, it is not our language. I found many who can speak English so well lost his/her Thai identity as well. That is not to be blamed .. just saying that it takes a long time to do like a native.
