Required Skills:
• Strong concept development and graphic design.
• graphic design education and print design work experience.
• Excellent understanding of typography, composition and colour theory.
• Solid knowledge of print processes and limitations.
• Ability to work with a multitude of formats (editorial, advertising, packaging, brochures, etc.)
• Well-developed communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to Art Directors and account teams.
• Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines.
• Comfortable presenting creative to account teams and clients.
Responsibilities:
• Developing concepts and communicating ideas.
• Balancing strategic development with client business objectives.
• Directly contributing to project design and development:
• creating storyboards / initial graphic concepts
• conceiving functional design solutions
• creating both print and interactive design solutions.
• Providing quality assurance of creative deliverables.
• Ability to adhere to strict brand standards.
• Building and maintaining a rapport with the account teams and senior management.
• Contribute to the innovative development of the creative department.
Required software knowledge:
• An expert knowledge of Creative Suite CS4 or higher (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Completely conversant in print methodology.
• Understanding of interactive design would be a definite asset.
