diesel fuel; and ethanol from wheat and beet with gasoline.
They find that all bioenergy systems have a disadvantage
compared to their fossil counterparts concerning emissions
of nitrous oxide and nitrogen oxide. The effect on acidification
potential and sulphur dioxide is in most cases in favor
of bioenergy. If we put the same values on emissions as
Vollebergh, 1997 (this volume) does, the external disadvantage
(greenhouse emissions excluded) for the biomass systems, is
in the range of 0.04--0.32 cent KWh -~.
