Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Planning and undertaking activities related to farmed shrimp under WWF-Thailand’s Sustainable Market’s Project Strategy, including but not limited to:
- Coordinating activities under a grant from international donors to develop a business case for shrimp farms to sustainably intensify their production and reduce environmental impacts
- Outreach to shrimp farmers and processors on a Business Case for more responsible aquaculture
2. Partake in the following activities;
- Organise and attend stakeholder meetings and working groups in fieldwork project areas
- Attend training opportunities to develop relevant knowledge and skills
- Arrange for guests/donors visit at project areas
3. Day-to-day tasks including but not limited to;
- Responding and following up the queries from relevant agencies
- Outreach to government, business and industry and community stakeholders ensuring they are aware of WWF’s aquaculture work in Thailand
- Maintain and develop existing database of relevant agencies for WWF’s network
- Monitor and report on activities for project management and carry out research relevant to the project
4. Liaise and attend meetings with other organization functions necessary to perform duties and organizational development.
