The employee may take leave with pay equal to the rate per hour of a normal working hour of a normal working day throughout the period the employee is sick but which shall not exceed 30 normal working days. The employee may only take sick leave when they are actually sick.
Where hospitalization is necessary, an employee shall, on recommendation of the company’s doctor or a government medical officer or a registered medical practitioner, be granted up to sixty (60) calendar days paid hospitalization leave (including the number of paid sick leave in clause 1)
