Hi, other than the opex challange, specifically on why new hires are given and existing employees are not, this is the response, see if it helps :
We were able to maintain an equity budget for non-executive new hires within an acceptable level of OPEX. This was deemed necessary to attract top talent into the company.
Presumably, our current key & critical talent have unvested equity from their new hire and/or prior focals, and the value of those outstanding awards are higher than at grant due to our share price growth.
