Describe the job:
Airbus provides a stock of spare parts to Thai Airways. Failed components need to be sent out for repair and replaced by serviceable components. Airbus supervise and monitor the whole process. Operations (maintenance, stock control & logistics) are physically performed by Thai Airways except the shipping paperwork which is prepared by Airbus.
Main activities
The Repair and shipping officer
Aircraft configuration management
Updates the IT system to reflect aircraft configuration (unserviceable part removed from aircraft / replacement serviceable part installed on aircraft).
Conformity Check before shipment
Physically checks the unserviceable part to be shipped and take pictures for reference in case of damage during transportation.
Checks availability of part paperwork (certificate, Post Flight Report, Trouble shooting data,…) in accordance with Check list
Shipping preparation
Checks in the system the relevant repair station for the given part
Prepare the shipping documents accordingly
Hand-over the shipping file to Thai Airways packing office for actual shipping.
TSP Operations support
Provides support to TSP operations outside office hours to manage urgent parts requirements (AOG cases)
Qualifications
Fluent English indispensable
Experience in Aviation Logistics / warehouse management.
Fluent use of MS Excel
Experience with mainframe IT systems
Aircraft technical knowledge
Knowledge of AMASIS would be a plus
Availability for on-call duty roster 24/7
Salary : Between 20,000 to 32,000 THB/month Depending on experience
