On 6 June 2011 two convective cells are noticed near the
Gadanki region at 1100 UTC and 1400 UTC, respectively. The
first cell noticed at 1100 UTC is with an intensity of reflectivity
of 41.3 dBZ. The intensity of reflectivity increases gradually to
57.3 dBZ at 1200 UTC and attained a higher value during
1230 UTC with a maximum reflectivity in the range of about
57.3–60 dBZ. This cell moves away from the study area at
1330 UTC. A second convective cell is noticed at 1410 UTCwith
a reflectivity of 44 dBZ. The intensity of reflectivity increases
gradually to a maximum value of 52 dBZ at 1440 UTC
