Lack of overall employees’ satisfaction with the ERP system at companies B and E can be related to some issues dealing with the culture of these firms. For example, employees of company B’s perception of management is that managers are only concerned with employees getting the work done, and they do not care about employees’ education and advancement. The top-down approach to management and the absence of information sharing as well as availability of resources for training and education may have contributed to the dissatisfaction of the staff with ERP even though they expressed that the ERP system has improved their wok efficiency. Despite rewarding employees’ good work at company E, employees shared the same sentiment as company B when it concerned availability of resources for training and opportunities for education and advancement.
