showed that FB penetration rate in Serbia is 46.8%, which is higher
than European Union average (38%) (“Internet World Stats e Usage
and population statistics”, 2013). In the first years, FB users in Serbia
were predominantly students and young adults. Although there are
no empirical data of FB penetration rate in the period after 2012, it is
our subjective insight that in the most recent period FB became even
more popular, somewhat among middle-aged people, but especially
among teenagers and even children of primary school age.
