In England, Mr. Otis bought the Centerville Castle from the Lord Centerville even he was warned the castle was haunted but he didn’t believe. One day, when the Otis Family moved to live in the castle. The horrible things happened.

Scene 1
Mr. Otis: Welcome to Centerville Castle, our new house. Come inside. Tea and cake are ready for us in the library. [Everyone drinks tea and cake but not Virginia. She wasn’t interested in food. She spotted a poem in the library window.
“If a child will enter the secret room
and stay till the dead of the night,
Then at last Sir Simon can sleep in his tomb.
And at Centerville all with be right.”

Virginia: What does it mean? [Before she could answer the father, her brothers cry out.]
The twins: It’s very delicious.
[They are playing while they drinking tea and the cake is falling down]
Oh! Daddy! There is something on the carpet. It looks like a blood stain.
Virginia : Oh ! It may be the blood of Lady Eleanor Centerville as the Lord Centerville warn you that this house is haunted.
The twins: Lady Eleanor Centerville? Who was she?
Mr. Otis: She passed away in 1575.
The twins: How did she die?
Mr. Otis: She was murdered by her husband, Sir Simon Centerville five hundred years ago.
Virginia: Oh my God. And How about Sir Simon?

Mr. Otis: What’s that noise? [He put on his slippers and pick up a small bottle on his bedside table and then open the door … to terrible sight. And old man with long greasy hair and ragged clothes was glaring at him fiery red eyes.
Mr. Otis: Excuse me ghost, you must be Sir Simon.
The Ghost : Yes, of course.
Mr.Otis : But I think your chains make an awful noise! We cannot sleep at night. I think they need some oil. I’ll give you some. [For a moment the Centerville Ghost was still. Then he threw the bottle of oil onto the floor and howling. The twins heard him and went out their room with pillows and threw them to the ghost ]
The Twins : Take that slimy Simon! We’re not scared of you. You’re so ugly. You’re so skinny and too old to scare us. Boo! Boo! [The ghost quickly vanished to appear in his secret chamber room. He was furious.]
