Eleven of 13 cohort studies included in this review provided esti-
mates of the association between total RPA and EOC risk (Fig. 2b).
Among these, all but two risk estimates were statistically insignificant.
Specifically, Schnohr et al. reported a significant inverse association be-
tween RPA and EOC risk (OR = 0.33, 95% CI: 0.16–0.67) [13] and Chionh
et al. reported a significant positive association between RPA and EOC
risk (OR = 2.21, 95% CI: 1.16–4.24) [14]. The remaining 9 studies yielding statistically insignificant associations were collectively equivocal, with 5 studies reporting RRs below 1.0 [15–19] and 4 reporting RRs
above 1.0
