The communication between the components within the ACCESSNET ® -T IP network
and the communication of the ACCESSNET ® -T IP with the "outside world" is implemented via physical interfaces. Physical interfaces can be Ethernet connections.
The communication from the ACCESSNET ® -T IP to other networks (gateways) is performed via network elements with routing functions like the IPN and correspondingly
equipped basis stations. Outside ACCESSNET ® -T IP, voice is transmitted ISDN-
encoded (µ- or A-Law) or, in the case of applications, remains TETRA-coded. The reprogramming from TETRA to ISDN and vice versa is also implemented in correspondingly equipped network elements.
