Using empirical data collected from Australian
firms, this study attempts to achieve two primary
objectives. First, it seeks to resolve the inconsistencies
which have appeared in the literature concerning
the relationships among organization strategy,
TQM, and organization performance, and, second,
to advance the study of TQM by bringing it
into an organizational strategic context by examining
its suitability as an organizational practice in
mediating the relationship between organization
strategy and organization performance.
