Allows you to control the Session and Graph window output.
Dialog box items
Study variation: Enter a multiplier to use in the StudyVar column of the Session window output. The default multiplier is 6, which is the number of standard deviations needed to capture 99.73% of your process measurements.
Process tolerance: Enter either the known tolerance range (upper spec - lower spec), the lower specification limit, or the upper specification limit. A %Tolerance column will be displayed in the bottom table of the Session window output and in the components of variation graph. This column shows the percentage of the process tolerance taken up by each variance component.
Enter at least one specification limit
Lower spec: Choose if you have only a lower specification limit. Enter the value of the lower specification limit.
Upper spec: Choose if you have only an upper specification limit. Enter the value of the upper specification limit.
Upper spec - Lower spec: Choose if you have both an upper and a lower specification limit and do not want to calculate the probabilities of misclassifying product. A product is misclassified when it is bad but called good, or when it is good but called bad. Enter the difference between the specification limits. This is known as the tolerance range.
Historical standard deviation: Enter a known value for the total variation (part-to-part variation plus the measurement system variation). A %Process column appears in the bottom table of the Session window output and in the components of variation graph. This column shows the percentage of process standard deviation taken up by each variance component. If you provide a historical value, Minitab uses it, rather than the estimated standard deviation, to calculate the probabilities of misclassification.
Alpha to remove interaction terms: Enter the alpha value used to remove the interaction terms from the model.
Do not display percent contribution: Check to suppress display of percent contribution.
Do not display percent study variation: Check to suppress display of percent study variation.
Title: Enter a new title to replace the default title on the graphical output.
