This classroom-based research study investigated the students' e-mail writing process and found, in answer to Research Question 1, thirteen writing strategies reported in the three stages of writing process. The outcome of three models explicitly shows the recursivness of e-mail writing with various writing strategies used while e-mailing This reflects an obvious similarity to non-e-mail writing (Research Question 2) Moreover, the results of this study indicate that students' e-mail writing activities will help teachers to feel more confident to use e-mail writing activities with their students.
