We will need more specific schedules especially with the pole and cable. We need the pole numbers to be mentioned to achieve the 3km requirements before approaching EdL with an outage request. Even with EdL having a pre-calculated schedule, we will need to know how to challenge them for longer pieces. Ask Kasem and Sontaya to help in this regard as we need the information from the field and subcontractors. They need to become the Enova supervisors and ensure the following:
• Speak to Chatchaval to know which contractors are available on the day.
• Are the contractors capable of performing intended installation.
• If they feel contractors are not able or competent, they must notify us before we start with outage negotiations at EdL.
• Do they have the tools, trucks and equipment to complete the installation in time.
• Do they have the required safety equipment and notices to complete the installation safely.
• Do they know the time to begin and to finish and do they understand the seriousness of our outage times.
• Do they have the personnel with correct ability and age to complete the installation safely, correctly and on time.
• They must be on site to calculate their hourly progress and to notify another team immediately when they require assistance to complete their installation on time.
• We also need a report of fast installation to know who’s available to help other teams.
As from now on you or I will negotiate outages on a weekly bases on behalf of Enova. Please ensure to start this immediately and I will relieve you when I get back from my leave. Also arrange for our management meeting to move to SVK and arrange one of the girls to take minutes. Please contact me should you encounter any problems.
